When did you learn to skate?
-I started skating at four years old on a backyard rink that my dad built.
Did you play hockey growing up?
-I started playing hockey shortly after I learned to skate. Youth hockey in high school through Hopkins, followed by Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and currently for the Minnesota Shenanigans.
What other sports did you play growing up?
-I grew up playing golf, which I still enjoy now but I love playing all sports.
If you could do anything non-athletic in your spare time, what is it?
-I enjoy being at the lake and relaxing.
Are there any other good hobbies that you have?
-Art and graphic design is a hobby of mine that I have been lucky enough to turn into a career.
Describe going down an icecross downhill track for the first time:
-It was a huge rush and I was hooked on the sport instantly.
How long have you been competing in ice cross downhill?
-This will be my fourth year.
What first got you interested in the sport?
-Seeing clips on Youtube at first and then when it came to St. Paul I went to watch knowing a couple of the girls racing. They talked me into trying out the next season.
If there is one piece of advice that you could offer new riders, what would it be?
-Don't be afraid to fall! Trust your edges and lean forward.
What is your best result or favourite memory at a Red Bull Crashed Ice?
-Traveling and hanging out with the good friends I have made racing over the last three years. We always have a good laugh.
