When did you learn to skate?

-I learned to skate when I was about three years old.

Did you play hockey growing up?

-Yes I have played hockey  since I could walk. I have a brother who is two years older then me so my parents snuck me on his team.

What other sports did you play growing up?

-I feel like I tried every sport growing up but the ones I stuck to in high school were hockey, soccer and lacrosse.

If you could do anything non-athletic in your spare time, what is it?

-Sing and Dance!

Are there any other good hobbies that you have?

-Crossfit, snowboarding, wake boarding, softball and coaching high school hockey and lacrosse.

Describe going down an icecross downhill track for the first time:

-It is a pure adrenaline rush! You don't know what to expect until you are going down the track and still to this day when I get to the end of the track I look back and can't believe what I just did.

What are your guilty pleasures?

-Nothing Bundt Cakes!

How long have you been competing in ice cross downhill?
-I have been competing since 2012 when the women's side of the sport was only one race a year but I took two years off while being a college hockey coach. I got back into crashed ice again in 2015 when it became a full tour for the women!

What first got you interested in the sport?
-I saw crashed ice on TV while watching with my Canadian friends out at Dartmouth College. They told me that I should try it once I graduated so when it came to the Xcel Energy Center, I tried out and haven't looked back since!

If there is one piece of advice that you could offer new riders, what would it be?
-Take it easy your first time going down a track and don't try to do what the top athletes are doing right off the bat. Get comfortable with the features, speed and technicality of the course.

What is your best result or favorite memory at a Red Bull Crashed Ice?

-My best result in an individual race was in Jyväskylä, Finland in 2017 where I finished 1st place. My best World Championship finish came in the 2016/17 season where I finished 1st for the USA and 2nd in the world ranks.

Who is your favorite sports athlete?

-Mia Hamm and Cammie Granato are two people I looked up to when I was growing up!
