When did you learn to skate?

-Age 4

Did you play hockey growing up?

-Yes

What other sports did you play growing up?

-Baseball, Soccer, Cross-Country, Figure-skating, Gymnastics, Paintball

If you could do anything non-athletic in your spare time, what is it?

-Order pizza

Are there any other good hobbies that you have?

-Besides being outside as much as possible, doing things like wakeboarding, hiking, etc., I’m kind of a nerd. I like designing digital content, such as websites, homemade videos, photography, etc.

Describe going down an icecross downhill track for the first time:

-Standing at the start ramp, looking down over what appears to be a cliff the size of the Grand Canyon, made of ice, you begin to question your life-choices up to this point. You grit your teeth, swallow a few thousands times, remember to add a breath in there once or twice so you don’t faint and toss yourself onto the track hoping your instincts have your back one more time. After an exhilarating, tiring, hopefully pain-free 40 seconds, you realize you’re at the bottom, and you think to yourself, “let’s do that again!”

What are your guilty pleasures? Why do you wake up in the morning?

-Buying subscription services for everything, and eating out for every meal.

How long have you been competing in ice cross downhill?
-Since 2015

What first got you interested in the sport?
-The spectacle and the grandiosity of the Saint Paul course. I wanted to try it, experience the rush, and master it more than anything.

If there is one piece of advice that you could offer new riders, what would it be?
-If you want to try it, just go for it, and don’t hesitate to ask guys for tips

What is your best result or favourite memory at a Red Bull Crashed Ice?

-My favorite memory is the collection of experiences from the 2016/17 season; traveling, getting to know, and making memories with all of the athletes from around the world who are trying this sport for the first time or making leaps to become the best in the world.

Who is your favorite sports athlete?

-I don’t have a favorite, but I’m definitely gunning to be yours ;)
